THE GOD WHO STOPS FOR ONE

As I pondered the story of the man at the Pool of Bethesda, I imagined his 38-year wait. The "healing move of God" at the time relied on an angel stirring the waters, and the first person to enter would be healed.
Suddenly, another man approached, asking if he wanted to get well. "But no angel is here. Why is this man reminding me of my helplessness?" the man must have thought.

But then, two fascinating thoughts crystallized in my heart as I pondered. Want to hear?
This man had grown accustomed to an angel's intervention. He was used to the angel of God so much so that when he saw the God of the angel, he couldn't recognize Him. 
So I began to cry,"Oh God, may I not be locked up in a stereotypic way You've always moved that I fail to open up to the other dimensions of You".
It's so easy to be in the MOVE of GOD and miss the GOD of the MOVE

Meanwhile, what happened to the pool after that man was healed? Have you ever asked?
It most likely remained, healing others. Jesus didn't come to heal the man because God had shut down the portal or healing by the pool; He came for another reason.
The One reason that makes a lot of meaning to this Sandra 😭

That's my second and more beautiful thought: ONE MAN!
Yes! One man had dwelt in hopelessness for 38 years, and Jesus passed by intentionally.

Remember John 4? Scripture was intentional to say that Jesus needed to pass through Samaria for ONE WOMAN.
Does it remind you of another scripture?John 20? Jesus returned from His journey to heaven for ONE WOMAN.
Yes! We didn't have to form a quorum before He came. Compassion drew Him. Love drew Him. Sandra drew Him 

So I began to think aloud:
There's always a temptation to see God as a rigid Monarch with strict standards and ladening you with ambiguous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on how to get His attention. No! Not my Jesus! He'll go out of His way for you. Sometimes, all you need is brokenness.

He can keep a truckload of intercessors awake because of you.
Jesus will come because of you... No other reason... Just you.

Here are my concluding thoughts:
1. While you abide by the principles of the Kingdom, just keep your mind open.

2. While you await the stirring of the pool, still look out for Him!

3. My Jesus, this my Jesus, will come!
And when you ask Him why He had to go all the way, He'll say," JUST BECAUSE OF YOU"
